Swaim - Owen Russell

Funeral services were held Wed. afternoon at Marshall
Federated Church for Owen Russell SWAIM, 73, who died Sat. at his
home in Marshall. Mr. Swaim, who was president of the Citizens
State Bank at Marshall, Parke State Bank at Rockville and
Marshall Branch of the latter bank, was a well-known figure in
Parke County. He also was a member of the Marshall Fed. Church
and Rockville Rotary. The Rev.Milo Hinckle of Marshall and Rev.
Ed Wodoard of Montezuma conducted the funeral services. Burial
was in Bethnay Cem. with Davies Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Swaim
is survived by the wife, Nettie; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Roth of
Corvalls, Ore; two sons, John of Indianapolis and Hobart of
Marshal; 7 grandchildren.
